For The Skincare Indulgers: Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate

There's just something about using a facial oil that feels that little bit more indulgent than a traditional cream. I've been pro-oil for a long time and found that some of the times that my skin has looked it's best has been when I've been incorporating oils into my routine. They feel lovely, they often smell incredible and my skin loves them. The K iehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate is a much-loved facial oil among beauty fanatics. It's a beautifully luxurious product that makes a real difference to your skin an is a pleasure to use.
Oils can be a brilliant addition to any skincare routine. Whether you're dry or oily, if you find the right one, oils can be that extra step that makes all of the difference. Packed full of brilliant ingredients they can treat skin problems and leave you with that youthful glow in an instant. Personally I prefer to reserve oils for my evening routine so I can take a little more care and they have all night to absorb. If you have oily skin then don't avoid the oils, the right ones can help to balance your skin and help ensure your skin is receiving all of the nourishment it needs. Autumn has most definitely arrived (something I am so excited about) but with it comes the cooler weather and before we know it we'll be gasping that extra dose of hydration that an oil can give. They're an easy way to add a little luxury into your routine and take the opportunity to really work the product into the skin.
The Midnight Recovery Concentrate is a high quality, high performing facial oil. Three key ingredient work together to give the best results and leave my skin feeling how I want it to feel. Recently my skin hasn't been at its best, it's looked a little dull and a few breakouts (mainly down to a lack of sleep, pollution and over-indulgence) have left some uneven tone and redness to my skin. The oils ingredients have made the world of difference though - the evening primrose oil has boosted my skins radiance whilst the lavender oil has helped with the redness and pigmentation that the spots have left behind. Generally I'll be left with dark marks where I have previously had spots for anything from between 2 to 4 weeks after the initial breakout is over but I've noticed a markable difference in the healing time and how well the marks have been healing since incorporating this into my routine.
Scent certainly isn't everything when it comes to skincare but it's nice to have luxurious smelling products all the same. The formula has the most relaxing and indulgent scent that I now associate with the evening and bed time, it's just a great way to finish winding down at the end of a hectic day. Despite the rich ingredients the oil isn't too heavy or st all greasy on the skin. A little does go along way (a couple of drops is enough for my entire face) but it warms up beautiful between your hands to soaks into the skin beautifully. It doesn't sit on the skin, feel greasy or mark your pillows throughout the night.
Oils are quickly becoming the step I look forward to the most in my routine and Midnight Recovery Concentrate is becoming s firm favourite. Not only does it feel amazing and smell incredible but it makes a real difference too. My skin looks plumper, more radiant and generally more healthy when I incorporate this into my routine. If you like to invest in your skincare or want to make an investment in a good, reliable oil then check out Midnight Recovery Concentrate because it's my favourite part of the day.
