Fresh-faced, radiant and simple: the perfect everyday makeup look

Natural minimal everyday makeup glossier balm Dotcom milk makeup Charlotte tilbury flawless filer flossier stretch concealer

Quick, simple and refreshing, these are the words I always want to associate with my everyday makeup. No matter how fun it is to play around with different styles and experiment with new products, for the everyday I’m looking for easy-to-use products that leave me looking polished and fresh faced.

Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter (Shade 3)

The ultimate skin-saviour if you’re looking a bit dull and lack-lustre (guilty as charged!). A little goes a long way and buffs into the skin seamlessly to give a healthy, radiant finish that looks like you’ve had a full facial pre-8am. On very low-key days I wear this alone with a little concealer but it also sits beautifully under foundation.

Glossier Stretch Concealer

The concealer if you’re looking for a brightening and radiant effect, especially under the eyes. Apply in light layers to get the perfect level of coverage and then set in place to avoid too much creasing. My favourite brush to use is this one from Sephora but it also blends in well with a beauty sponge or just fingers. If I just need a freshen up I take this on a foundation brush and just add it to the areas that need more coverage.

Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek in Werk

My go-to for a fresh-faced-but-natural look that adds a subtle glow to the cheeks. It blends seamlessly with other cream products on the cheeks, giving a radiant glow without even the slightest hint of shimmer. Plus it double up as a lip colour too for the mornings where you’re really in a pinch or fancy the mono-cromatic look.

Beauty Pie Brow Artist

Brow Lamination-lite, this gives your brows great body and definition and keeps them in place for hours but without the super thick and crunchy feeling of so many brow gels. The tiny cone shaped brush allows for precision with the thinnest eyebrow hairs while the formula helps to build up volume and add definition if you opt for the tinted version.

Glossier Balm Dotcom

Still my number 1 lip product, the mint flavour gives a nice subtle tingle to the lips, keeps them hydrated for hours and is the perfect base for mixing in some subtle colour. Some days I add in the Milk Makeup Blush, other’s I reach for my beloved lip pencil in Tiramisu for a bit of subtle definition with very little effort.
