Experimenting with different beauty products is fun, but there’s a certain comfort in knowing you’ve discovered a few staple products that you can always rely on. The beauty equivalent of your favourite pair of jeans, that always look good no matter what. They’re quick to apply, instantly lift your mood and you always know which makeup bag/handbag/bathroom drawer you’ve stashed them in.

The natural barley-there makeup trend is becoming increasingly popular, with convenience and reliability being key in anyones routine. We all want high performing products that do the job, leave us feeling good but don’t require too much time and accuracy. ANd most of all we want to look ‘done’ without feeling ‘done’. These products let your natural features still shine through while enhancing the rest, easily and quickly.

Glossier Stretch Concealer

It’s light, brightening and extremly blendable giving it the most natural finish of any concealer I’ve tried. It doesn’t quite have the staying power of some but it does cover my blue/purple circles under my eyes in a natural way. It’s easy to apply and gives the most beautiful sheen to the skin. It does make my mascara run ever so slightly but I can kinda get over that for the finish it gives and how easily it works into the skin.

Glossier Boy Brow*

The cult brush-and-go brow product that’s so loved for a reason. A quick brush through my brows when they’re in a slightly better state is all I need to keep them in place all day. But if getting your eyebrows done isn’t quite on the cards yet ahem then you can build this up for a much bushier and full brow look.

Fenty Cheeks Out Bronzer in Butta Biscuit*

The creamy formula blends into your skin beautifully, it can be buffed in for a really natural glow but doesn’t have a single trace of shimmer in it. It comes in 7 different shades and also doubles up nicely as a gorgeous bronzed wash over the eyelids when you’re going for a more laid-back look.

Hourglass Caution Mascara*

The best cruelty free mascara I’ve found. It gives incredible volume, thick lashes and builds up to be totally jet black. Use sparingly for a more natural look or pile it on you’re a big fan of thick lashes too.

Clean Reserve Citron Fig*

The ultimate summer fragrance. The combination of fresh citrus-y smells with clean fig means it instnalty lifts your spirits and gets you dreaming of those gorgeous summer days. It’s perfect for the spring and summer but I’ve found a light spritz in the depths of winter brightened up the dullest of days too.
