3 Things: Get The Makeup Glow
It doesn't matter which season it is, radiant and glowing skin is always on trend. Even if you opt for a more velvet matte finish in the autumn and winter it's still nice to have a touch of radiance to your skin. I always want my complexion to look healthy and awake so alongside my skincare routine there are a few faithful picks that always leave my skin looking that little bit more radiant.
- The Glowing Foundation: Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk
One of the ultimate cult foundations, there is a reason so many adore this and continuously go back to it. It has a medium to full coverage so does a brilliant job at covering any redness or pigmentation in the skin and adding a boost to your complexion. A little goes a long way so it can be sheered out beautifully if you don't want a fuller coverage whilst still giving the skin a glow.
- The Brightening Highlight: YSL Touché Elcat
The YSL Touche Eclat gives the perfec subtle radiance to the skin. With a little extra coverage this is great for brightening under the eyes to help counter any sallowness and can be extended along the tops of the cheeks, brow bones and nose if you want a very subtle and low-key glow to the skin.
- The Radiant Powder: Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light
The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light is a daily staple for me. It locks all of my make up into place whilst being so fine it doesn't overly mattify or leave my base feeling at all heavy. The light reflecting particles give an airbrushed radiance to the skin whilst the yellow tone helps subtly brighten and counter any redness that may be in the skin.
All three give a beautifully understated glow to the skin on their own but used together they further enhance the complexion and leave skin looking that little bit more perfect and little healthier. They help to give skin that boost of radiance that's often needed (no matter what time of year it is) and leave you feeling fresh and put together.
