The L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche L'huile Nail Varnish

When it comes to nail varnish I'm up there with the pickiest. I want a formula that is easy to apply, has good pigmentation and coverage and I want it to last. Now and again I will come across a range that delivers and I fall head over heels for them. This time it's the L'Oréal Paris Colour Riche L'huile Nail Varnishes. The recent re-formulation has left the Colour Riche nail varishes bigger and better than before. You get more for your money but you also get a formula rich in oils to give an incredible high-shine finish. I can't stand it when my nails chip, I don't want to be repainting them every other day so finding a formula that lasts is key. The L'huile's last for a good 5/6 days but it isn't until around day 8 or 9 that I need to re-paint them.

When I fall for a formula the colour range is always important to me. From brights to neutrals, metalics and deep tones, the range has everything. 114 Nude Mademoiselle is a beautiful pink blush shade, perfect for achieving the barely-there nail look that is currently on trend. This subtle shade gives the perfect finish touch to any minimal look, it isn't too pink but also isn't too white making it flattering for many and although it's such a pale colour 2 coats is still enough to achieve a good coverage. Unlike many other lighter formulas I have used in the past this does not stain or "crack" on the nail leaving room for marks. It stays put gives that perfect 'Parisian Chic' feel to any look.

For something slightly darker and a little more unusal 664 Greige Amoureux is my go-to. This slightly brown-toned grey is very much an 'elephant grey' shade. It's surprisingly flattering and easy to wear, looking great next to a slight tan. It's the ideal shade for when you aren't quite sure what you want on your nails but you want something that will match with all of your wardrobe. Again the formula stands up and the pigmentation is good, two coats is enough for a flawless finish to the nails.

The new formula is worth checking out, not only are the new bottles beautiful and very Instagram friendly but the tweaks have meant that you have a truly brilliant product alongside  great colour selection that will see you through season after season.
