Over the past 18 months of really getting into skincare I have tried my fair few cleansers. Creams, gels, balms, oils, I've pretty much tried them all. Without a doubt cleansing oils are my favourites for breaking down any remaining make up and giving my skin that really clean and luxurious feeling without stripping the goodness. Of the cleansing oils I have tried The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil is without a doubt my favorite and at only £10 I had to share why.

The hype surrounding this product is definitely worth it. Normally when I try a new cleanser my skin has "a bit of a moment" for the first couple of days before getting used to it and settling back down. With this there was not a blemish in sight. My skin loved it from the start and looked so much more glowing than it had done in ages.

The oil is thinner than others I have tried but 2 or 3 pumps is plenty to work into your skin and remove any excess make up or dirt. I have tried this straight onto my skin to remove my make up and it does work very well however personally I prefer to use a micellar water first just to get the bulk of my make up. As soon as you add warm water this starts to turn into a milk texture and you can wipe it away with a warm flannel. The product lifts away everything easily and leaves your skin feeling so soft.

If you're looking for a new purse friendly cleanser I would definitely check this one out. The Body Shop also do a balm version which I didn't get along with quite as well but still removed everything from my face. The great thing about The Body Shop is that they are usually more than happy to give you a sample if you ask so if you're not 100% sure if this is for you then it may be worth asking.
